| My puppy dog, Conan was put down yesterday. He was getting very frail and he'd been crying at night, so I didn't want him in pain.
I miss him, though.

| Ugh. Next time Dad is over, I'm gonna ask him to take down the kitchen exhaust fan cover so I can clean it. It's icky. I could do it myself but I'd probably stack it and break something...my go-go-gadget arms aren't working right lately
So, you know what annoys me? Apart from being sick? When you get a new CD (just bought the Bible on MP3) and it's in there all nice and snug. And you try to take it out for the first time but it's really snug. And you've never snapped a CD taking it out before but you're sure this is going to be the first time. Yeah. That annoys me.

| It's been a big day.
I went to the Mall today to go and get some groceries to make a lasagne and salad for Dad and Cathy. They get home Tuesday and I don't want them to have to cook Tuesday night, but still have a good meal. Yet to see if my lasagne can be considered "good"...tee hee.
Anyways. I went and got my ear pierced. They couldn't put the little hoop in straight away so it's a silver bar. But I'll go back in 3 weeks for a check up and order 2 little gold hoops for the 2 cartiledge piercings. Rad.
Then I went and picked out new frames for glasses and sunglasses. This new store had a deal of 2 complete sets of glasses for the price of one. So I picked out a $249 pair of normal frames (pictured) and a $199 pair of sunglasses. So the guy gave them both to me for $249. Technically, it should have been $299. Bargain. So I booked an eye test and went to do some more shopping.
Stopped by Shiels and put some sapphire earrings on lay-by. The sticker said sapphire and diamond but my receipt says sapphire and cz. I'll have to check that. Not that I mind coz they're still pretty but I want to know. They're the same colour and shape as the stones in my ring and drop earrings and have little square diamonds (cz?) on top. They had the matching pendant on special...but I resisted...tee hee. The earrings are for my bday. Or if I don't get any bday money, they'll just be my present to me. *grin*
*Dad just text messaged me to say Asia (they're in Singapore) is hot, humid and hard to see through tired gritty eyes...awww*
Then I went to Starbucks and had a caramel macchiato and banana caramel tart. Yummo! But I have to remember to ask them to make my coffee strong. It was a bit weak for my taste. I like to taste the coffee over the caramel and milk. The cafe near work (Funk) does an awesome caramel latte. They make mine with an extra espresso shot. Good stuff. Oh! And they were giving away little sample bags of their Kenya blend. Score!
Then I did the grocery shopping. Ran into Dom (love that girl). I don't think I bought anything overly interesting. Mainly lasagne ingredients. Didn't find a drink bottle. They had them in Starbucks but they were really expensive.
Then I walked all the way to the other side of the mall (one end to the other and back today) for my eye test. It took a lot longer than I expected - lots of double checking. She told me when she was done with that part that she was checking more than she usually would because my prescription is actually weaker than last time! How cool is that?! She said it was a pretty rare thing to happen and wanted to be sure. I'm happy! Glasses should be ready by Thursday. If so, I'll pick them up after work.
Then I got the bus home (skipped getting the dog food so I could get a bus rather than a taxi), put stuff in the fridge and went online.
Exciting, huh?! Tee hee.
